"Behind the Seams" Tour,
Dinner & Game at Frontier Field
Wednesday, July 20th, 2011
|
What:
A
behind the scenes tour, picnic dinner, and Red Wings Ball game with
fellow RARES members (and their families).
We'll begin with an inside and out tour of Frontier Field - the press
box, luxury suites, dugouts, etc., followed by a complete,
all-you-can-eat picnic style dinner provided by the Rochester Red
Wings and Frontier Field in one of the park's pavilions (The Nest in
Right Field). Beginning at 7:05, the Rochester Red Wings
take on the Durham Bulls in a spectacular evening game.
When & Where:
Wednesday, July
20th, 2011, beginning at 4:45 pm
at the front gates of Frontier Field.
-
Adults, $22.00. That includes the tour,
picnic meal, and a ticket to the baseball game.
-
Children ages 4 - 12, the price is just
$18.00.
Children 3 and under are free if they sit
on their parent's lap. Otherwise, seating will be $5.50 (no
charge for food for the little tykes).
Note: we've extended registration and will continue to
accept registrations through Sunday and up until Monday morning, 7/18, at 9 AM
4:45 pm
Behind the Seams Tour of Frontier Field including a tour of the luxury
boxes, the dugouts, etc. (sorry, we're typically not able to view
the locker rooms as players are dressing at this time).
5:30/5:45 - 6 pm
After the tour, whenever there is a promotion, we are asked by the
Wings to exit the stadium and re-enter when the gates reopen at 6 PM
if you wish to obtain a promotion. Promotions are
subject to change and the previously scheduled promotional event may
or may not take place. Those of you not wishing to obtain an
autograph/promotional giveaway may stay in The Nest until dinner is
served at 6. The Wings apologize in advance for any
inconvenience.
6:00 pm
All you can eat Grand Slam picnic dinner in The Crow's Nest featuring:
- Big Red BBQ Chicken
- Big Red BBQ Pork Ribs
- Big Red BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches *
- Char-grilled Zweigle's hot dogs **
- Baked Beans
- Coleslaw
- Potato Chips
- Watermelon
- Ice-Cold Soda & Lemonade
Dinner is served beginning at 6 PM and right up until
the game starts at 7:05.
Wednesday's
Promotions - Autographs & Giveaways
There are two events taking place on Wednesday. There is a magnet
giveaway in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Frontier Field (first
2,500 fans) and there's also an autograph booth for former Cardinal
great and Hall of Famer Lou Brock. If you wish to obtain either a
magnet or an autograph, you will have to exit the stadium and re-enter
the lines outside the main entrance. If you do not, you may enter
The Nest area and relax until dinner is served at 6:00.
7:05
Reserved seating to watch the Rochester Red Wings take
on the Durham Bulls.
Seating will be in Section: 208, rows
Q - U See a stadium seating chart

you wish to purchase seats in a different section yourself),
you may purchase a ticket for the tour and meal for
$5.50 per person less than the price above - just $16.50 for adults or
$12.50 for children.
This option is on the registration/payment button you see on the
right.

PARKING
Often, we've found that the Kodak lots are
open as early as 4:30 (the lot closest to the main entrance to Frontier
Field enter off of Oak St.),. The Red Wings suggest that you park
in the Lake St. parking garage in High Falls as that city parking garage
is always open and easy to access. Do allow for the 5 minutes to
walk from the parking garage to the main entrance by the box office.
